The Big D

Inspiration

Should anything be said? John Handcock is jealous of how Dusting is spelt with that big D.

Recipe

  • 2oz Elija Craig Staight Bourbon (Can sub for Angel's Envy)
  • 1/2oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Dashes Angastora Bitters
  • A bar spoon (or two) of genadine

Build in a low ball and stir

Serving

Serve in a low ball with a giant cube of ice. NEVER FORGET THE CHERRY. Skew the cheery and let it rest on top of the glass so that the cherry juices can drip into the drink

The Bourbon on the Beach

Inspiration

When life give you vanilla noted bourbon, You add pineapple juice, orange, sugar, and drink up

Recipe

  • 2oz TX Blended bourbon
  • 1/2oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2oz Orange Liquer
  • 1/2oz lemon Juice
  • 1/4oz Agave syrup

Shaken

Serving

Serve in a low ball with a giant ice cube

The Emily Moore

Inspiration

Emily: Make the "Emily Moore"
Preston: Okay

Then Boom, the Emily Moore was born

Recipe

  • 2oz Western Son's Gin
  • 1/2oz Elderflour liquere (St. Germain)
  • 1/2oz Simple Syrup
  • 1/2oz Lemon Juice
  • Topped off with your favorite flavor of Olipop

Build in a low ball over ice

The No Name Peach

Inspiration

Brass Tap, the best chain pub in this blue law riddled state. They also have one of my favorite drinks, The Kentuky something or other. They have since changed it to the Peach Bourbon Smash. I have crafted a version to keep my tasts sated in between my trips to the brass tap. I have no name for this drink so it is called the No Name Peach

Recipe

  • 2oz Bufalo Trace
  • 1/2oz Agave Syrup
  • 1/2oz~3/4oz Peach Shnaps
  • Half of a squeezed lemon (I can never figure this out. It's always good though)

Serving

Serve in a low ball with a giant ice cube

The Old Fashion Perrone

Inspiration

Name something more old fashion than beards, muscles, cigars, and loving Christ. That is the inspiration for this drink. The man Brandon Perrone. This is the only old fashion worth of the man

Recipe

  • 2oz Buffalo Trace Bourbon
  • 1/2oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Dashes Angastora Orange Bitters
  • A Zesting of cinamon

Build in a low ball and stir

Serving

Serve in a low ball with a giant cube of ice

The Peachy Klean

Inspiration

Knock Kockk Who's there? Delicous peach tea Delicious peach tea who?

Peachy Klean!

Bad jokes aside, Mason "The Man" Martinez brought to me a delicous concoction of sweet tea, peach and lemonade Like a true flavor coneseuer I ran to the kitchen and grabbed my trusty Western Son's Peach Vodka and boom the Peachy Klean was born

Recipe

Equal Parts:

  • HTeaO Ryan Palmer (Sweat)
  • HTeaO Ginger Peach (Sweat)
  • Western Son's Peach Vodka

Stirred

Serving

You can serve this as a shot or however you like. A colins filled with ice and a lemon is a great way to go

The Pearrone

Inspiration

Happy Birthday

This drink was concieved while birthday partying it up for the Perrons' (Brandon & Chental) At Kenny's Steakhouse. They have a drink called the Peartini. This is my formulation of it.

Recipe

  • 3oz La Poire Grey Goose Vodka
  • 1&1/4 oz Elderflour Liquer
  • 3/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1/4~1/2 oz Lemon Juice (Fresh Squeezed)

Serving

Chill a martini glass and serve with a lemon wheel garnish

The Poisoned Emily Moore

Inspiration

Emily: Make the "Emily Moore"
Preston: Okay
Preston but internally: This would go great with monster

Then Boom, the Poisoned Emily Moore was born

Recipe

  • 2oz Western Son's Gin
  • 1/2oz Elderflour liquere (St. Germain)
  • 1/2oz Simple Syrup
  • 1/2oz Lemon Juice
  • Topped off with your favorite flavor of No Sugar Monster

Build in a low ball over ice

The Spiced Apple Mule

Inspiration

Sometimes a cocktail of the week turns into a scavenger hunt. Mason and I traveled around the croner to the brass tap and had their version of this cocktail. Like one of my hero's, Neil Caffrey, I set out to make a forgery. And I must say, I am quite the forger

Recipe

  • 2oz Apple Vodka (Amsterdam)
  • 3oz Ginger Beer
  • 1/2oz Lime Juice
  • 1/4oz Carmel Syrup (Ghiradelli)

Build in a mixing glass. Mix extra to make sure the caremel breaks down

After poring garnish with cinimon

Serving

Serve with russian flare, and an apple slice
